WordSmart 30-day Guarantee

WordSmart will have a great impact on your student’s life. We guarantee it.

So go ahead and try WordSmart for 30 days. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the product, simply return it for a full refund of the purchased price. It’s that easy.

Only the first shipment in the WordSmart series is refundable. This product is sent for a 30-day trial that begins when the product is delivered to the customer’s home. The product will be delivered within 7–10 days (maximum) of the order date. If the shipment is delayed, please contact Customer Service.

If you would like to return your initial WordSmart shipment for a full product refund, contact Customer Service. They will be happy to issue you a Return Authorization number.

If you would like to discuss your account, WordSmart can be contacted by phone, email, fax or letter. It is not mandatory to receive monthly shipments.

WordSmart SAT/ACT Guarantee

After a minimum of 20 hours use, WordSmart’s SAT/ACT Prep Series will increase your combined scores on the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the SAT at least 200 points (when your original aggregate score on the two sections is between 700 and 1300 points), or your ACT score test at least 4 points each on the Reading and English sections (when your original score is between 13 and 29 points). If not, WordSmart will refund the purchase price.

The guarantee requires that the student use WordSmart for a minimum of 20 hours. To receive a refund, customers must send:

• A copy of initial SAT/ACT scores (prior to using the WordSmart program).
  • The initial total score on the critical reading and writing sections of the new SAT must be between 700 and 1300.
  • The initial score on the Reading and English section must be between 13 and 29.
• A copy of the second SAT/ACT scores showing the failure to meet the guaranteed increase.
• A brief letter signed by the parent and student stating that the product was used for the 20 hour minimum.
• The WordSmart user progress report* from your program, which shows that the WordSmart program was used for the 20 hour minimum.

To receive full refund of the purchase price, the customer can send all this information to WordSmart, attention Customer Service, and we will contact the customer to give them authorization to return the product. Our guarantee can also go from a Pre-SAT/Pre-ACT score to a SAT/ACT score.

WordSmart Letter Grade Guarantee

After a minimum of 20 hours use, WordSmart’s vocabulary-building software will increase your English or Reading grade one full letter grade (if current grade is a B or lower) or WordSmart will refund the purchase price. This applies to the first full semester after the date of purchase.

To receive a refund, customers must send:

• A copy of initial report card (prior to using the WordSmart program).
  • The initial English or Reading grade must be a B or lower.
• A copy of the second report card showing the failure to meet the guaranteed increase.
• The WordSmart user progress report* from your program, which shows that the WordSmart program was used for the 20 hour minimum.

The customer can send all this information to WordSmart, attention Customer Service, and we will contact the customer to give them authorization to return the product.

WordSmart IQ Score Guarantee

After a minimum of 20 hours use, WordSmart’s vocabulary-building software will increase your IQ score, or WordSmart will refund the purchase price up to one year from the date of purchase.

To receive a refund, customers must send:

• A copy of initial IQ score (prior to purchase of the WordSmart program).
• A copy of the second IQ showing the same or lower score.
• The WordSmart user progress report* from your program, which shows that the WordSmart program was used for the 20 hour minimum.

The customer can send all this information to WordSmart, attention Customer Service, and we will contact the customer to give them authorization to return the product.

* You get the WordSmart user progress report by loading any WordSmart Volume and going to the Main Menu. Click on the “Progress” option which is the circle with the bar graph in the middle located in the lower left hand corner of the main menu. Once in the progress screen click the “Show Graph” box in the lower left hand corner, and then “Print“ on that final screen. A graph showing minutes used will automatically be generated.
